Drought in Outback Sketch

The final painting was gouache on parchment, the initial sketch was from seeing numerous sites of damaged land, due to the ravages of drought, floods then drought again. As you can see , the small changes I made to balance the composition, and it clearly shows how I delineate the rough sketch into the final form. The sketch was 1/8 the final picture, I think I drew this in 1984, the painting was in 1985.
